Every Fall - Silicon Valley
Annual Retreat
Held each fall in Silicon Valley, the Annual Retreat is SVJP’s signature annual gathering, bringing together influential leaders from the U.S. and Japan. Over three and a half days, from Thursday through Sunday morning, CEOs and senior leaders from member companies in the U.S. and Japan come together with Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, investors, academics, and policymakers for candid discussions on the technology and global trends shaping business. Company site visits, curated sessions, and shared experiences create the space for lasting peer relationships to form.

Innovator’s Gala
The Innovator’s Gala celebrates visionary leaders advancing technology and innovation across Silicon Valley and Japan. Held in conjunction with the Annual Retreat, the evening brings together members, partners, and friends of SVJP at a distinguished cultural venue for an elegant program, entertainment, and meaningful connection. The inaugural Gala took place in 2024 at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, and the 2025 Gala at Stanford’s Cantor Arts Center marked SVJP’s 10th anniversary.
Even Years - Japan
Japan Retreat
The Japan Retreat brings the SVJP community to Kyoto, a city where centuries of tradition meet bold innovation. Over two days, members and leading experts from Japan and abroad explore topics ranging from AI and the future of business to sustainability and longevity, alongside cultural experiences such as Zen meditation and the tea ceremony. The setting invites a different kind of conversation, one rooted in reflection, perspective, and a deeper appreciation for Japan.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Each tier offers a different level of access to SVJP’s signature programs over a two-year term. Registering is not a binding commitment. Your sponsorship is confirmed once the agreement is signed.
*At least one attendee must be a CXO. Spouses may attend only when accompanied by a CXO.
*U.S.Gold: soft introductions and preferential seating at meals for the CEO at the Annual Retreat, and preferential CEO seating at the Gala with soft introductions to key individuals of interest (if requested). If the CEO cannot attend the Retreat, preferential seating transfers to the Gala.
